The threaded back stud piercings feature a 19 gauge (0.95 mm) internally threaded back with signature Pamela Love heart. The heart makes the piercing comfortable to wear and sleep with, while preventing irritation that may occur from traditional posts.
To open: First, delicately hold the decorative stud - the unique design of your choosing - and the heart shaped bottom. Next, grip the top piece and heart shaped bottom, rotating counter clockwise to unscrew. Please be advised, do not pull the top piece to open.
To close (wear and secure): Place the heart shaped bottom through the back of your piercing. Following, take the top part and align the screw with the elongated rod of the heart shaped bottom. To fasten, rotate clockwise. Please be advised that piercings are delicate. Do not apply forceful pressure while screwing and unscrewing.
A 6.5mm back post will safely fit a helix of average thickness, the tragus, the rook, conch or thicker earlobes and the nose. In certain cases, this length of post can also be used to be pierced with.
