The rich cultural heritage of Gintare's Lithuanian heritage provides her with a deep well or artistic and cultural traditions. A native speaker, Gintare is readily able to draw inspiration from the shapes, silhouettes, symbols and mythology that have defined the Lithuanian culture for centuries.
Gintare is a prolific designer, bringing an Old World nobility to her entirely original, fresh line of jewelry, all of it hand crafted in the United States. Following degrees from Columbia College and Ray Vogue College of Design, she continued her fashion and design education during years of modeling in Europe, Asia and the US. Gintare's interest in spirituality, readings of ancient texts, and studies of Eastern and Western mysticism, along with her abiding appreciation of nature provides more inspiration for her work.
Gintare today lives and works in Santa Monica, California. Uniquely, she is also the guardian and benefactor of a sacred site known for the miraculous healing power of the water issuing from a spring on her ancestral farm in a remote village in Lithuania. As you might expect, that, too, is a source of inspiration.
