As a sixth generation diamantaire, Jade Trau Lustig’s relationship with diamonds began when her grandfather, Solomon Trau of the legendary Trau diamond family, recognized her aptitude and interest, bringing Jade in as an apprentice at the age of 18. She spent hours watching diamond cutters polishing and faceting stones and learned every aspect of the business while she attended NYU as an undergraduate.
In 1998, Jade officially joined her grandfather at S. Trau.
After a brief hiatus due to the birth of her twins, Jade launched her line with husband Barry Lustig, a GIA- and AGS-Certified Gemologist and industry veteran.
Jade continues to be inspired by vintage and contemporary designs, putting her unique spin on meticulously crafted diamond jewelry that is relevant today and to be treasured for years to come.
