Ming Tsai and his wife, Polly, opened Blue Ginger in Wellesley, MA in 1998 and were immediately awarded 3 stars from the Boston Globe and "Chef of the Year" by Esquire. Ming was also honored as "Best Chef Northeast" by the James Beard Foundation and, for the last three years, Blue Ginger has been rated the "2nd Most Popular Boston Restaurant" in Zagat. An Emmy Award-winning host and executive producer, Ming can be seen on "Simply Ming" and "Ming's Quest." He has authored three cookbooks, created a Blue Ginger line at Target, and is designing many other products. A founding member of Chefs for Humanity, Ming is deeply involved in their good works.
