Meira T has always been a creative force. As a teenager she served as clothing buyer for her family's retail stores in Germany. Meira learned the diamond business in Israel in her early twenties and soon moved to Belgium with her husband to further her diamond education. Meira moved to New York in the early 1970's were she designed a line of children's sweaters.
Eventually Meira returned to diamonds and jewelry and began designing in the early 1990's. Over time she has developed a line that is sold throughout the world. Meira T gets her inspiration from her European & Middle Eastern background and designs jewelry that the independent women want to buy for themselves. Her designs have been photographed in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, among other publications.
