Original and colorful designs in hand carved lucite and crystals

A child of the 60's and New Yorker to the core, Alexis Bittar began hand carving his Lucite creations in 1990. Quickly discovered by the fashion elite, his colorful designs took flight, including collaborations with the Museum of Modern Art. His collaboration with Patricia Field for "Sex and the City" sparked her quote: "Alexis is a true visionary". In 2004 he was named Designer of the Year by the Accessories Council of Excellence. In 2007 he collaborated with Michael Kors on an exclusive collection for Michael's 2008 runway show. With international fashion editorial covers too numerous to mention, in 2010 Alexis won the most prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Accessory Designer of the Year award.
