Atlanta native Sara Weinberger has always been drawn to creative pursuits. After working with a prominent Atlanta photographer, she settled in Honolulu. Inspired by the beauty of Hawaii, Sara began designing opulent, hand-stitched leather photo albums, and eventually an exclusive line of jewelry.

After moving back to Atlanta and teaming up with business partner Mary Williams, Kala (the Hawaiian name for Sara) was officially born in January 2009. The designs are snapped up by those with a discerning taste and appetite for fine jewelry that satisfies the hippie heart. In all, Kala is a perfect fit for Ylang 23.
